so two days ago i was looking at getting a mash tun so i could use grains instead of extract syrup when i make beer, which is somewhat limiting, and I decided i would have to make one out of the cheap cooler i already have and a toilet supply line. i tell no one about this.
fast forward to tonight. a fully set up, 175 dollar mash tun shows up at my dad’s door. he did not purchase it. i did not purchase it. there is no information on the receipt other than the last 4 digits of a credit card neither of us have. we have absolutely NO IDEA where this came from. i literally wished i had something and it showed up. though honestly i wish it had been one of my more ambitious wishes, but still this is really freaky. really weird.
iPhone corrects the possessive [’s] of words ending in s to just [‘]. Fuck you iPhone, it’s a stupid rule and it makes no sense. For example say Alexis’ dog out loud. Do you say “iss-iz”? Yes you do, don’t lie. Alexis’s is also correct, don’t force your counterintuitive grammar on me Mr. phone.

i just spent 7 hours at these peoples house because… honestly i couldn’t even tell you why. they wanted me to sync their data between computer and iThings but were upset when i synched their data. they wanted to upgrade to newer office but were upset because it wasn’t exactly the same (they now have to click an extra button, which multiple times i was told “i’m not going to do that”). oh and all of this is my fault. and the worst thing is, is that it’s not an invalid feeling, as far as they can tell things are more difficult than when i arrived i.e. worse. and i told them i would come back tomorrow for free because i have no spine and felt bad. fuck everything.
at least usually, but i haven’t heard back from anyone yet so it may just be sadderday.
